Hello all,
Well, as the new LACHL President, I'd like to welcome you to a new year. Succeeding Mary will be a tough job, but I know that with your help I can do it. First things first, I need to know what you want to do this year as far as speakers, as well as how we can raise funds given that we're out of grant money. My hope is to make us more politically vocal in Loudoun County government while continuing to elevate awareness of our membership regarding services and resources available to parents of D/HH children.

September 14th is coming quickly, and we'll meet to discuss next years agenda. I need volunteers for the following positions:

Vice President: Covers for me on months I'm not here for the meeting (for example, October).

Publicity: Gets the word out on what we're doing and disseminates NVRC and AG Bell information to the membership.

Membership: Maintains membership rolls and ensures a current mailing list.

Fund Raising: Helps to coordinate 1-2 fundraising events annually.

Please feel free to send me your suggestions and hopefully, your willingness to support LACHL. Nothing is more important or a more valuable use of time, than supporting our children. Please join me!
